Clutch is a a life-long rock music fan, a self-professed head-bangin’ metalhead, a wealth of useless knowledge and is very blessed to be a child of God. He is a native Texan who grew up in a rather conservative family with deep roots in church music. With that kind of background, being drawn to hard rock and heavy metal wasn’t easy. But, the discovery of Stryper, Bloodgood, Vengeance Rising and Believer as a young teen helped him bridge the gap between his faith and his love for Metallica, Anthrax, Van Halen and Led Zeppelin.
Inspiration for Today with Pastor Gil
Pastor Gil is a native Texan
. His radio ministry has taken him to various parts of the world. He has served as envangelist, missionary, and liason for Promise Keepers International Ministries. Radio ministry has been an active part of his calling. Most of his International radio programs are syndicated. He enjoys the opportunity to reach out to the Round Rock and Georgetown communities weekly on his live radio program ("Inspiration for Today with Pastor Gil".) Pastor Gil and his wife Melba currently serve as pastors at Community Bible Fellowship in northwest Austin. http://www.austincbf.org/
